
The Young And The Restless (Y&R) scoop for Monday, June 8 reveals Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) will express his gratitude to Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn).
Also coming up, Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) will quiz Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) about the opening of the new Shadow Room. Plus, Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) will push back on Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) sincerity test. And Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) will be thrilled by Dr. Stephanie Simmons’ (Vivica A. Fox) news.
Y&R spoilers tease Cane will ask Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) why she’d ask him to run Chancellor and not her brother. Lily will say she changed her mind. So, Cane will wonder why she doesn’t want to run it herself. But she’ll say Victor was right when he told her she belongs at Winters. She also thinks Cane belongs at Chancellor. Lily will say it’s a chance at a fresh start and he’d be CEO.
Y&R Daily Scoop – Stephanie Tells Holden She’s Been Offered A Job
Then Malcolm will walk in and Lily will embrace him. Malcolm will say he feels better than he has in years. He’ll also thank Lily for her support. And he’ll ask to speak to Cane privately. “Cane thank you,” he’ll say once they’re alone. “You saved my life.” Cane will say he was happy to do it for him.

“This was a gesture to Lily too, wasn’t it?” Malcolm will ask and Cane will say of course. But he didn’t just do it for Lily, he wanted him to have a chance. Malcolm will say he gave him his life back and will always be grateful to him. Then he’ll shake Cane’s hand.
Malcolm will ask where things stand between him and Lily. He’ll tell him they’re friends but he loves her and he’ll do everything he can to prove himself to her. Malcolm will say Lily makes her own choices and he won’t interfere. But if he ever hurts her again, he’s going to have to deal with him.
Lily will come over and Malcolm will head out. They’ll talk about his arrest and Cane will say the DA has dropped the charges against him. She’ll be happy for him but she’ll ask if he’s going to accept the offer. “I’m all in,” Cane will reply.
Meanwhile, Claire will tell Holden if he doesn’t feel like going to the opening of Noah Newman’s (Lucas Adams) club, she’ll understand. But he’ll say he has good memories from The Shadow Room too. After all, they spent time there together. “All that bad stuff happened in the past, I want to live for today and maybe make some better memories,” he’ll reply.
Holden will ask Claire to be his date and she’ll say she’d be delighted. Then Stephanie will show up and she’ll tell her son Genoa City Memorial offered her the position of chief of staff. “I need you to be honest with me,” she’ll ask her son. “Do you want me here?” Holden will say of course he does, it’s fantastic news. Malcolm will come along, hug Stephanie, and he’ll get introduced to Claire.
Young And The Restless Scoop – Matt Eventually Agrees To Be His Spy
Stephanie and Claire will head out, to give Holden and Malcolm some quality time together. They’ll joke around about their favorite baseball clubs and Malcolm will be happy to hear he and Lily are getting along. But he’ll also worry that Holden has no sense of direction in his life.

Finally, Matt will be curious about the test Victor has for him. The Mustache will tell him first he needs a place for him to live. “I want you to live on the ranch property,” he’ll add. “What?!” Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) will exclaim. Matt will say he doesn’t get it.
Victor will tell him he can stay in an empty ranch hand apartment above the stables. “I want you to take care of a problem,” he’ll add. “The problem has a name, Cane Ashby.” Victor wants him to become friends with Cane and find out what he does at all times, socially and at business.
“I’m a spy?” Matt will ask, chuckling. Victor will say he wants to get even with Cane for taking his family company. But Matt will point out Victor got his company back. “This feels to me like you want me to go back to being the guy that everybody hates, so I can’t agree to any of this.”
Victor will tell him to reconsider, the alternative is prison. Nick will agree with Matt’s position but Victor will tell him he better do what he says. “What do I get if I do this?” Matt will ask. Victor will say he’ll get his freedom. “The other option is to pick up the phone and turn you in.” So, Matt will eventually agree to be Victor’s spy. But is he going to regret it?
